Sometimes I feel like hurling my iPad off the Empire State Building after losing time after time in a tactical struggle against Magnus. I pretty much had Magnus 9/3 beat, up the exchange and I threw it all away tactically...now it seems my biggest challenge is being able concentrate without my woman constantly interrupting my flow. Funny, I beat Magnus quite easily when she is not in the house. Sigh...
Estimate my rating based on 'play magnus' app

I have a better idea. Stop playing against an engine and learn some basic Chess.

at fenris > I have the Diamond membership so I spent a lot of time learning the basic in the chessmentor.
use a lot of time watching videos and do a lot of tactic trainer.
I play live chess, online chess and against whoever I want.

Hey guys could you take this quick rating estimation test? I'm wondering if this thing is at all accurate and data from more experienced players might be useful... http://www.chessmaniac.com/ELORating/ELO_Chess_Rating.shtml

I've seen that test before...the advice I got from most experienced rated players was when concerning elo tests was that the only real way to figure yr elo is to actually play rated tournaments.

Not sure you can do it via Android...I have the same phone and same problem. I was able to add it via computer easily.

that is the great thing about playing against computers not resigning you learn to look out for stalemate.
also Carlsen succeeded in getting his pawns on black squares. so that your bishop had no targets.
