Fair play in a 1 minute bullet game?

Not long ago I started to play here on chess.com. It is always surprising how some players behave and insult others.

One example is . In a 1 minute game, blundering everything, even the queen in 16 moves. So the game went very wrong for him.

But instead of starting a new one, he sent a chat message to me with the comment "dirty player":

Really not understandable, why should I be a "dirty player", when he blunders?

Wanting to send him a message I realized that it was not possible,  [no naming and shaming] is blocking you".

That´s style!

Astonishing that a lost 1 minute game can trigger such emotions.

Sure I am O.K. with never playing again against somebody who can not lose and becomes insulting, but the question also would be what chess.com does about it?

Is there a complaint method as in playchess?

As chess becomes more popular we see more of these classless examples from opponents who think the trash talking of some sports belongs here as well. What is even more surprising is that these comments are coming from very good players.

If you spend time on the internet you need to learn to deal with this. You shouldn't still be thinking about it more than 5 seconds later.

As much as that is true, it doesn't make it right. If you can do something about, say something about, you should.

As in playchess, such foul behavior should not be tolerated in my opinion. Chess.com should make it possible to file complaints about such users who use vulgar language and insult their opponents. Consequences as far as blocking their account would make them think next time twice on how to behave.

You can block players here (at bottom): http://www.chess.com/home/privacy

You can report players here: http://support.chess.com/Tickets/Submit/RenderForm/20

It doesn't really matter. People talk trash all the time in any sport.

If you don't like it, disable chat prior to the game or block the guy after.

FireAndLightz

Thats an example of "sore losers".

Don't let it bother you if someone become rude, just disaple chat and then you can block the player. If you block a chess player on chess.com he/she can't play against you again.

What is this +1 and +2? I've got that too sometimes..

It's like a like button on Facebook or a +1 button on Google Plus.

The anonymity of people on chess.com ( and the entire internet for that matter) makes it easy for those who want to insult others. It's a thing we got to live with I'm afraid.

I can understand that the OP was upset , I would be myself. And like him , my first impulse would be to respond to the insult and try to communicate. But , on second thought I might just leave it as it is . I would definitely block the assailant from spamming on my profile again. Only when things realy get out of hand , I would inform the Staff about this.

See , Kansha gave YOU a warning and the assailant is of the hook.

BTW : I understand the No Naming part , but what is meant by No Shaming ?

I hope I was of some help.
