Famous NM/CMs ?
NM pminear... I personally know him; he has been the PA state champion 3 times (2008, 12, 13). I must say he is quite good with openings. Although he doesnt study openings that often he can usually go out and play almost any opening very comfortably like he does know it. He is very good under time scrambles... for example in a blitz game and can think faster than his opponents and turn a drawn position into a won one.
Alright how about famous FMs as well. NM John Brooks is known in my state as a master of traps he not so much as goes into complications but goes to positions were it's like hes giving his opponents a chance to blunder a style which he most likely developed from playing many gambling games of chess . FM Seth Homa who also plays here on chess.com is very up to date on theory it seems but haven't looked at to many of his games.

Any famous NM/CM level players known for their play or expertise in one or more phases of the game ? I dont care to here about teachers like heisman or pandolfini although I have much respect for them.
