FEAR The picture !

For awhile now on a diffrent site I've been losing to this one guy like crazy even tho were basicly around the same rating but I noticed that when he changed his profile pic I started wining a few games and now i've beaten him 3 games straight and im wondering if the pic he had maybe psychologically cprippeld me a bit cause it was a picture of mikhail tal starring and thats always been one of the master I've really admired is this type of psychological barrier possible ?

That type of psychological barrier is possible only if you allow it, I play the board not the opponent, and if they had a picture of Tal I wouldn't care, I know they aren't 1/10th as good as tal.
