Features for Chessbase and a Timer

wouldnt it be great to be able to tag data on chessbase? or to have a universal medal i guess, where you can customize it.

I was also thinking of a timer feature for the training portion.

does anyone use any timers here? Ideally it would be cool to have a timer that rings every designated given time (ring every 30 seconds, minute, etc)

heavy training. does anyone know of one online?

Its not a site feedback/suggestion rofl..

I think the timer would be great, but a decent time limit rather then getting 30 seconds to solve something hard.

Cool, at the chess hall of fame there is a display of a clock used by john collins to train fischer. it rang every 30 seconds. thats wherre i got the idea from. !? story

Wait can't you just set a timer yourself? Like using a chess clock or kitchen timer or something though?

My bad if this is not what you mean....

I have Cb but I'm a noob at it lol. All I know how to do is use the database and save games to repertoire pretty much, annotate stuff, and put watch the CDs from CB magazine.... What are some more useful features I should get to know though?

tag data as in being able to categorize a game with multiple information.  later on just search through your tag and get all  your positions.

timer, well the essence of the timer is for it to ring at a predetermined time. this is just a training technique its really not important. the idea of using the every 30 seconds or 1 minute method is to pace your self to get faster, and i think it might also help you gain an appreciation of the time used.

i would need an elaborate timer, one that can ring every so often. iam sure there should be one online
