sure......however if your opponent is a pushover, we expect to win and don't feel as pumped up.

Same with tests in school and any endeavor that takes mental and /or physical effort to succeed.    When we meet or exceed our expectations, we feel great.

Happiness is caused by hormones. Every feeling is caused by hormones.

When you say "your body produces endorphins and serotonin" during exercise, you're really just saying that exercise makes you feel happy.
