Gelfand was one of the four not playing in Tehran anyways. However, there was some speculation the Iranian Ghaem Maghami would not have been allowed to play Gelfand.

Nakamura is such a jerk. First made Giri play out a textbook Philidor rook draw which converted to a super textbook K+P v K draw. He made him play it out to stalemate.
