FIDE Online Arena = Scam

Two of them, apparently.

Everyone I know who played at FICS has long left and moved to Lichess. They don't update FICS anymore, none of the software receives any improvements anymore, and it's a "finished", outdated product.

That said - I think that BabasChess and WatchBot were/are brilliant. It's just a shame that nobody ever kept up with improving the network and it's software over the years. ICC has the 45/45 league, a 90/30 swiss tournament running constantly, and a larger community than FICS...along with better, updated software.

While I agree that the FICS software is stale and not updating anymore (a shame), I do not agree that anything at ICC is better than BabasChess/Watchbot.  The communities have been about the same size for a number of years (avg. 1000-1800 online throughout the day).  And I stand by the superior feel of the 45/45 league on FICS (FICS also has the snailbucket tournament running pretty constantly as a solo tournament style, as well, which is comparable to the 90/30 tournament you mention).

Additionally, I would not exactly call ICC a cutting edge platform, experimenting with new features and ideas these days.  It's been pretty much the same for 2 decades, also.

Well, I will also go ahead and agree with you in that ICC is getting a bit stale. I literally never log in there anymore other than to play my Team 45/45 games. If BabasChess + FICS were updated and actually had a team working on them again, I would easily consider switching over to their team league.The ICC league is a little disconnected and scattered. Very little actual team interaction by players and so many of the games are over in 20-60 minutes with guys just trying to get out of there with an easy draw.

Well the reason I laughed the second time was different than the first time lol.

The first time I was laughing was because Sub1000 believed Warbringer33 was acting like 99% of all the other chess.com players who write scam on something with out having a single clue. Often they write Scam with out even trying to get in contact with anyone or even making any sort of effort.

Believe it or not their has been alot of that on chess.com forums recently. An alot of the people who do so. Do really seem like total idiots.

The problem was even though 99% of the chess.com players do clueless Scam forums. Their is always that 1% who actually do put in the effort etc.

I believe Warbringer33 was in that 1% which made things funny. Than they went back and forth with some pretty funny retorts. Some of there retorts had some valid points in them which made the message even more juicy and funny.

The second time I was laughing was because techinically speaking FIDE has already answered and helped Warbringer33 which means this forum is rather done so to speak lol.

However, people keep posting on it. An what I find funny is that Warbringer33 is getting all upset against people who keep posting.

Warbringer33 is getting all sassy. I believe half the commenters who have commented have done so just to hear Warbringer33 talk dirty to them.

Their sick forum trolls out there. They like Warbringer33 getting all feisty with them. Them saucy flirts!

I find it completely hilarious.

Than you have the nerve to say I was a little hasty. What do you not understand. I gave them all of my information. All of my personal information which is very valuable and they sent me back to there home page with out a word.
