Congrats! 9 months ago almost to the day, I myself passed 1000 for good, although blitz, but that's what I play more, and I'm 1500 right now. In my opinion, the next step is to look at openings and do lots of puzzles.
You should review opening principles, such as gain center space, develop, castle, and usually don't move twice in the opening. You should also figure out which opening is right for you, and once you find that opening, spend some time looking at the main ideas that you can carry out in the resulting game. For example, once I had set myself on the Queen's Gambit I noticed that once castled, Black has to deal with substantial threats on the b1-h7 diagonal, and this caused trouble for my opponents in more than a few games. Puzzles and tactics are also vital because they do happen in many games, and if you don't see them, you'll be missing a winning opportunity.
One other thing: if you start to tilt, stop for a day or two, and then come back to it. You can do puzzles and such, but playing while you're actively on tilt isn't a good idea, you'll only lose more. Believe me, I learned that the hard way!
Also, what is the most used term for queen, as in chess, in the Spanish language? I've seen reina and dama floating around, but I'm not sure which one is more common.
Thanks and good luck!
I joined chess.com a few months ago with very poor knowledge of the game. Since then i started playing very often (I think I've played everyday since i joined this site) doing many puzzles, watching a few lessons (general stuff) and studied like 3 openings (basically watching all the lessons there are on chess.com on them): Evan's Gambit, the Sicilian defense with 2 ... e6 and King's Indian Defense. Other than that, I've been watching videos on youtube where this guy would analyse cool games (ReyDama, if you're spanish, you probably know him) and Hikaru Nakamura and Levy Rozman's videos. The thing is, i had been playing mostly blitz and A LOT (too much) of bullet games. But some days ago, I saw in a forum that playing blitz is bad for beginners, and bullet even worse, and that playing rapid is way better. So I started playing rapid, which I hadn't played for 3 months. I found the change pretty interesting, and I saw my rapid rating increase by 100 points. I also noticed that I had a better accuracy, and felt like i was getting better. What is the next step?
