What's the deal with the insane skill of supposed beginner chess players at 1000 blitz?

I have been getting destroyed also lol but I think I’m just bad with the time control

Just played my first ever tournament here, I played horrible, think I'm done with chess, what a waste of years and time.....

I think this is rare. Beating a 1200 gives me as much satisfaction as beating a toddler in arm wrestling
The only type of emotion I can get from playing a 1200 is relief that I didn't just get a new worst loss
I think there's a issue here, people are playing to well imo.
