Hi Chess.com, this is my first post, please be gentle.
I played chess in chess club as a kid, now I'm 21 and in the military stationed in Germany. I have taken up chess again as a hobby and I really enjoy it. However, I am struggling to find any traditional tournaments for amatuers or even chess clubs in my region (bavaria). I scoured google for 12 pages and found nothing. Does anyone here have any advice for finding tournaments/ chess clubs in foreign countries? I know people in Germany play so why is it so difficult to find anyone?
