This is my first brilliant that wasn't in the opening. I am quite bad at chess if that wasn't clear. I made it to threaten checkmate, but how does it tactically win a knight (that is what the review says)?

Because if you had taken the bishop on d7, you would have had a fork on a4 with your queen of the king and knight.
