Well Kasparov is a pro-American neocon shill so what do you expect him to say, he is just earning his dollars lol. But politics aside I don´t think he ever fixed any matches besides prearranged draws, what basically every player does from time to time. For Fischer probably anyone like that would be a cheater or fixer, so no reason to take it seriously...

This is no news amigo. In '92 Spassky suggested the K- K '85 through '90 matches might have been prearranged. But of course unlike Fischer, he wasn't stupid enough to accuse anyone without providing any evidence. They've done it for decades, the Soviet authorities even had Korchnoi under orders not to win.

The Russians favored Karpov over Korchnoi.
Korchnoi was offered entry into prestigious tournaments to lose a match.
Keres was famously not allowed to challenge for the title for years.

Even the Soviets accused the Soviets of cheating. Of course for them it's not "cheating", but for Fischer it was disgraceful, immoral. There's a lot of little "tricks" that they use. In '92 Spasskij never accused, he merely suggested.
Kasparov said Karpov used little "tricks" under the table when playing him. There a picture somewhere I've seen here on these forums of an arbiter inspecting Karpovs chair while Garry watches.

Also, Fischer said all games were fixed in the sense that the moves were already known by the players, they were just playing a novel for chess fans.

WOW so all these great matches I've been studying and watching are fixed. What the Tom foolery is this.
No, Kasparov is too proud to win a fix match, Karpov would not allow it. Karpov was world champion and wanted to be world champion for a long time and in their first match Karpov was leading the match and could not put it away. Afterward when Garry won the match and Karpov was the challenger in their match games were hard fought and extremely interesting and exciting games, nothing like the boring Carlsen wc games. Their match games was never fix and Fischer was wrong.

The Soviets were Fischer s heros but when he found out too, they all became dead to him.
Shirov sued Kasparov in '99 and GM Radjabov has accused him of "interfering" with his career.
So there's definitely some tricky business to Kasparovs other side. No the side we're used to seeing where he smilies, and happily shakes everybody's hand.

i don't think it exactly got into print spongey, but i think we are just supposed to play along, although quantum physics may state the book was published in some dimension.
