Check the discord. They did a crash arena to try and crash the website on purpose. Even dumber, it was a rated tournament so the already overloaded help team will have thousands of elo refund requests 😂

How are you consistently unable to play? Other than a few exceptions, such as the load test today, the site has been pretty stable.

This is how they want to represent Chesscom to the world:
Danny and Erik are two guys having a Midlife Crisis and want to be the cool kids on the internet block. I had to join Discord today so as not to get caught off guard by any future stupidity.
Why in the world would Chesscom ask the Discord Users for help in crashing their live servers? I guess the Paying Members just can't crash the servers without the help of all the free accounts running ad blockers.
This kind of arrogance shows just how little the Chesscom leadership understands about the technology that their site depends on.

The influx of active members has overwhelmed their servers. Completely understandable as who could have predicted an almost doubling of player base. And since February they’ve fixed the problem almost completely.

We're still periodically getting the pared down, "skeleton" forums main page. I would have thought that the server problem would have been solved by now...
Maybe chess.com can adapt and just give me a free diamond membership
