Why not?

Lol well

higher rated players tend to flag more, as if you’re a lower rated player, it generally implies that you are slow. You can easily make it to at least 1300 bullet just by having good speed lol

pls teach me how to flag.

Hahahahaha I love to start learning from my masters.

always have more time than your opponent and brush up on extreme simple tactics

Avatar of NobleElevator

So first of all, you need to be speedy.

Try to premove a lot of moves(if you can’t premove, go to settings and turn it on)

If you are on computer, then it’s a little harder to get faster, but if you are on mobile, get the app(there’s lower lag) , turn on premoves, and just play good moves.

If you are playing 30sec or 10sec bullet, then premove a lot, and make a lot of captures + checks. Make moves your opponent might not expect

that sums up flagging

Time normally isn't a problem for me, but sometimes I do lose on time.

Avatar of keep1teasy

I don't play rapid for a reason! lol

Avatar of NobleElevator

lol do puzzle rush too, it helps with quick tactic recognition

Is putting your opponents king in checks continuously still considered flagging?

The time control is chosen by the players themselves.

A player who complains that he only lost because he ran out of time is like an automobile driver who claims that he only had an accident because he was drunk.

Avatar of keep1teasy

yes but that's a bad strategy around 1800+ because they'd just premove spam their king

edit: responding to economist9

Putting king in check is good to cancel out pre-moves. Is avoiding trading pieces still considered flagging?

sometimes if they are in time pressure and you aren't it might work, but if you need to flag *EXTREME* it's best to trade into a drawn position and chain premoves

trading pieces is A good strategy for players your level, yes, it causes players to Need to stop, think, tHen take the piece. It is considered a flagging strategy, it isnt very AffectivE for 1800+, but it's a good thing to COnsider

flagging: giving away all my stuff so I win on time and have a single pawn left
