How can a flag give a hint at a particular players way of playing ? I would like to read more of your theory. Take my National Flag, the Irish Tricolour - what does that tell you. I must congratulate you on what could be a very interesting thread. If you don't mention any National Flags your thread, sorry to say this, loses something and it would be a shame for the kernel of a good thread to stay in your imagination and not be expanded upon and enlarge into a very interesting reading / discussion experience for all to contribute to and enjoy . . .
flags and style of play I am starting to see some interesting things.

But let me say whenever I play flags from a few countries around the same area
I know I will be playing a very aggressive player who plays aggressive almost to the point of being reckless. But like I said earlier I often lose simply because the moves require me to have exacting play
But I do invite anyone who reads this to pay attention. Because there does seem to be a connection to culture and the way the game is learned and approached,
Both because I’d exposure to theoretical concepts
Machismo. And masculine identity. Intellectual leanings.
How hungry you are in life and how many times you have had to overcome challenges in life.
There some flags I won’t mention them that 90% of the time all the moves are the most forcing or aggressive. However, not always sound. But I need to have careful play otherwise I lose. I think this style of play is amazing. In that a lower rated player can get a win against a higher rated player because of sheer will. Like a fighter that can out work his opponent.
Other flags come up and I will expect a careful game laid with solid strategy funny I do better against these folks.
Anyway I thought that I would mention it something I have notic d in the last few months
I love the flags it allows me to imagine a culture and a sociology even if I,m wrong I. An still pretend and it adds another level of interest to online chess
