Naked Chick:"She's just existing. Or should not. Who plucked *your* feathers? :P
I imply no such thing. Men can ask for it too. Women can say no. Men should respect that.
By the same token, women can ask for things too. Men can say no. And women should respect that.
But we weren't discussing men. See the topic: for all the girls on chess.com. Not many men are also girls. :-)

oh dear.... name calling!! i'm frightened now
Hah, I really got the picture that you were implying that women can but men can't. After all, this thread is about foolish males who play too much chess, probably have no confidence and end up making clumsy or silly comments to females who ought to understand the world better than they do. Yes, we were discussing men.
A topic entitled "for all the girls on chess.com....." is about men? I thought men were boys, not girls. But maybe I missed something in sex education class. :) It seemed that this thread was about a person telling all the women on chess?com that we are asking for harassment because we do things like exist and fail to lie about our gender and things like that.
If in discussing women it becomes relevant to bring up men (for example, bringing up a man harassing a woman), it probably helps the discussion. Maybe. But it's more interesting when things get a little off topic anyway -- makes one feel less confined :)
And yeah, I heard that men are boys too, but maybe we should ask some more people to get a more reliable consensus :)
I hope I don't offend anyone but I'm gonna start a thread entitled, " Where Can I Buy A Gun, Some Heroine, And A Prositute". Ans; chess.com of course, 3rd floor, 2nd door on the left.
The more basic the male mentality, the more ridiculous the discussion on women will be, so Elubas is right. It makes sense to understand the level of intellect of the males discussing the females so that all the neanderthal posts can be put in perspective.
No, it's not boring, it's an endless subject. But, it has shown up characters in all their glory & perhaps there is a market for hornychessplayers.perv somewhere, & obviously your avartar, username, faith or grocery list should not instill an urge to send intimate pictures without express permission (and anyway, you'd use a personel email for that wouldn't you??)
Some earlier comments made me think that maybe there should be more overseeing of junior players but we can't cotton-wool girls & boys on the off-chance some deviant wants to exploit them. It's difficult.
Us grown-ups..we should be able to deal with such things. Report, expose, ban.
Enough said.

"Not many men are also girls." Hermaphrodites are. But agreed, there aren't many.
Matcosite, no matter what you say or do, men will always hit on females that advertise themselves on the internet. Its just natural. If a girl has a half naked avatar picture , its her failt.
@Kasporov You have not started hitting on me yet. Doesn't that show that men are capable of controlling their actions and not hitting on women? Or should I start watching my inbox?
No. Men have not started acting better, just more subtle.

no, society has obviously been changing their attitudes to how men treat women as a standard over the years. a lot more progressing is needed but it's come a long way even in the past 100 years. your animal wired biology nonsense is just BS and excuses from yesteryear. men can and do act better than that, and the expectations have been rising for that. because many don't on the internet isn't something that women should have to "deal with" or "expect as the norm". this is a chess site, play chess. not difficult to do honestly...
i think you are the childish one, at least your views betray such. men can't act like that because they want to. it shouldn't be tolerated or expected. get over it. back to chess now...
Lol u notice that kasporov_jr didn't post a single comment when the dogs were there maybe he's afraid of dogs
