Wow late reply but goals on these levels are determined by push and motivation. Clearly the people in these top levels of play didn’t casually stroll their way into the top percentile by making forum posts constantly or procrastinating when they feel bored. This is why the top level is so elite, it’s a pure dedication to the craft and nonstop desire to excel which does it most. To anyone who happens to read this which is doubtful (lol), this applies to all fields across life whether it be medicine, economics, or chess. If you want to be the best, you have to work on being consistent and growing, and complaining and waiting for something you’re not taking action on won’t happen.

If you even think that asking that question will help, there's probably no point in trying anyways. I always find it funny too that most responses come from <1200 rated players: "Analyze games and watch videos". Every time.
