Well how do you know if you got better in a chess game?
usually you can tell. better moves, less regrets, aka less blunders, etc.
Oh okay 😋

how many games do you think one should play in a day?
it depends. if you are a beginner (1000 USCF or lower), play at least 5-10 games a day (blitz is fine)
if you are an intermediate/advanced player (1000-1800 USCF) I recommend playing some games everyday, but a couple will do. Try to aim for an average of 35 games a week (5 a day)
that is what i play
hehe i hope not, that's a blunder!
LMAO
I am 1600 online rapid (Rapid is what I play the most). What is the right balance between play and study for me, if I want to some time become a master?
In other words, what % of my time should be spent playing vs studying?
Thanks

your goal is too high. aim for 1800, then for 2000, then for 2200.
i would recommend 50/50, then 60/40, then 70/30 with the higher percent being for studying
Hi! How do I improve at complicated chess tactics (tactics involving lines that are at least 3 or 4 moves in advance)? I have heard that puzzles and practicing chess helps with this, but is there anything else that will help me with this? If yes, then what will help with this? Thank you.
How do I stop flagging people and actually win by playing normal chess
Can't you just play long time controls like 30|0 and 60|0
just play 10 min or 15 min and you'll be fine. i think 30/0 and 60/0 are too long for online chess
How do I improve my USCF wheni can't go to real tournaments :/
i don't think you can...

Yes, I meant that my long term plan is to become a master. My specific goal at the moment is 1800 by summer of 2021.
