Free Diamond Membership With Duolingo.

So I've been using the Duolingo app to get the free month of diamond membership and I am wondering if there are strings attached. Sometimes they ask for credit card info or it's just a free trial. Does anyone know if there is any payment info involved?

It's a free one-month diamond trial membership, so does require a payment method.

I tried to claim the 1 month free, it does ask for payment info.

I came here via Duolingo and I was asked for creditcard details. I did not fill that in and now I don't have the free trial 😔

I have a one year diamond, does gaining that give an extra month in my membership?

I don't see on DuoLingo how you get the free month, even though I completed the quests. Did you get an email or is there something you have to click on? Thanks.

Existing premium members don't qualify for the promotion.

@OriginalMoeFaux after completing the November goal you get a button 'claim your trial' which will direct you to the chess website.

My duolingo website does mot have the button that you click to get the month of diamond. Even though I have completed all the required quests, I am unable to get a free month. Could someone tell me how to get the button to appear?

Why does it ask for credit card info if it’s a FREE trial?

Tell me if you play less cheats when you get that diamond. Thanks

As usual, chess com makes things unnecessarily difficult and cumbersome for users.

The Super Duolingo offerer for playing the boys works the exact same way, requiring the member to sign up for a trial there. The site isn't working any differently.

I got the free 30 days of diamond and realised I could cancel my chess.com subscription right away to ensure I don't accidentally pay for the next month. I think it's pretty good as the usual free trial is only 7 days which I was able to get on top of my free 30 days.

i can't accept it cause i don't have a credit card and i can't get the free month through the black friday page because that asks for credit card info too.
