French Defense Most Boring Opening

I think the exchange variation (groan variation) and the Rubinstein are quite boring and dull, the other variations can be quite exciting.
The Winawer French blows my mind. One of the least boring openings in all of chess. I'm too much of a wimp to try it out OTB.

OP according to game explorer you have faced 1.e4 with black 7 times and 7 times you have replied 1.e6...

Yes it's true. I studied the theory behind it to the best of my ability and I am done with it. I think it's boring because I have been playing it for the last several months and I don't care for it. I answer 1.e4 with 1...e5 now.

The only reason I don't like the French is because I have been experimenting with it and it doesn't suit my taste. I gave it a shot and to me it's just a bore.

It's rather boring getting crushed as white if I elect to play the advance. They always seem to rip my pawns up at some point. So I end up playing the exchange and then everyone is bored. I suppose I should look at some great French games (for white) and opening lessons and try to understand how best to play as white. Playing it as black, though, I've found it to be quite interesting on occasion. I enjoy having clear targets and though it's cramped black's position often feels like a jack-in-the-box, ready to spring out at any moment..

I gave it a chance because it was definitely a solid opening. But I just could not handle how dull it was and how unambitious it looks on the outside (obviously that's a false impression). I'll stick with the Berlin Defense, which I personally don't find to be as boring as suggested by other players.
