French vs. Sicilian Defense

I personally like the French Defense. It’s what I play when I black and opponent played e4
The Sicilian is presumably better than the French.
Sicilian has been played in many recent World Championship matches e.g. Caruana-Carlsen, for French we have to go back further e.g. Bronstein-Botvinnik.

I like e5 because I am a fan of interesting chess (2 knights, zaitsev, mieses)

You should probably spend your study time on the basics:
Not blundering.
Not missing simple tactics.
And just because you play the first 2 moves of an opening doesnt mean you play that opening.

Which opening do you think is better? The French Defense or the Sicilian Defense? I personally like the French Defense because it works very nicely in defending my king.
