I haven't heard of anything too unusual about the site as a whole recently. Have you tried these methods of fixing disconnection issues?

Yeah I went through them, most don't apply at all and the others I've tested to make sure, but it still recurs. The worst is when it doesn't even tell me I've disconnected, my opponent's clock is running and I think he's stumped for a move, then all of a sudden it updates and I'm down to 30 seconds and about to lose yet another game in a winning position. I'll keep searching but thx for the reply!
And i'm sure it's not my internet cos as i say i played a couple other sites for a while and it never happened, but ideally I want to keep using chess.com, to me it has the best interface and table designs, plus it's really easy to use.

The path your traffic takes between your client and different sites is only partially shared. There can be connection issues between you and some sites, that will not have any impact on others, since the cross different equipment.
Unfortunately, if you've done all that was listed in that link, and your local network segment and client doesn't have a lot of traffic on it while you're playing, there's probably not much that can be done, until the site gets distributed live servers.
Streaming content on a shared network can cause enough traffic interruptions to cause disconnects to the live server, so that's something to be especially aware of.

For a while now I've been experiencing frequent disconnections from the game/site. I have checked this against other chess sites and it never happens. I've seen a few threads on this, many dating from a while ago which is worrying. Are chess.com doing anything to resolve this? Beautiful site but I'll have to stop using it or at the least I won't be paying for more memberships. Thx
