No that is not true. Tilting 40 points doesn't mean you became worse. You will gain it back tomorrow. Rest, and don't even think about chess for the rest of the day.

I think it is a joke concerning his profile picture, but if it is serious, no it's not a good idea, Rubik's cube is as difficult mentaly as chess, if not worse, because sometimes you are slow and have no idea why whereas in chess you can analyse what you did wrong

Nah, there are a lot of manuals on how to assemble a Rubik's cube from any starting configuration

Do you really think it is because your level lowered ? I don't. If you see that you're not in a good mood, just don't play, even if I am far from your level, I sometimes resign games for no reason (equal position) when I don't feel like it. Take breaks ! Remember that you can't win every game. Take the time to analyse your game and find one thing you did wrong in it. And please don't click new game automatically when you lose, this, and thinking too much about elo are the two major elements that make you tilt. Come on, keep fighting you can do it!

I meant when you take it competetively and trying to go fast

gotta play until you start winning again

That's not a very good suggestion. Take a break from chess for a few days. If you feel down from a tilt, playing more will make you lose more, since you aren't playing at your best.

Agree, from my own experience this approach is rather a waste of time
