Friend request doesn't exists

Hey, I'm unable to accept incoming friend requests. When I click the accept (tick) button it shows a message - Friend request doesn't exists. And If I go to the profile of the user, I don't see the Accept button enabled. Is this a bug? Any work around? Thanks in advance!

I had it a while back ,I made the assumption that the person cancelled the request!!

I am having the same problem, Anny.  In one case, I sent an outgoing friend request back to the person and that person accepted my request.  So, the bug is not universal.

I think your problem is related to the settings. Go to the home section and from there go to your settings section. In the settings section, the tenth option is privacy. Enter the privacy section, and there the ninth option is related to accepting friend requests, which you can enable or disable.
There are also other issues such as challenges and non-options.
Even in the settings section in daily games, there is an option for leave and vacation.

Hey, thanks for checking. But i haven't changed my privacy settings recently and I could accept the friend requests a couple of weeks back. It looks like a bug to me.

Yeah Jerry, it looks like a bug to me. After posting this problem here in forum I could accept a new friend request from a user who dropped a comment to my post. Looks like its alright now.

Hello..Thanks for checking. Yeah I was thinking the same. But today I had six friend requests pending to be accepted, and it was showing the same prob for all requests, so I doubted it to be a bug.

I think it was not the case. Anyway now it started working fine!

Update: The problem with accepting friend requests seems to be working fine now.

Same for me, Anny.  I was able to accept a friend request a couple of minutes ago.

I am getting the "friend request doesn't exist" message again --- but not all the time.  It is a bit frustrating!

I have the same problem. Every day. I also seeing that I've tried logging in too many times when I haven't logged in for hours. Someone is trying to guess my password?

It appears that chess.com app just sent me a friend request only to get me to open my app and accept new terms. I think this is a story and I thought I would seek comment from chess.com. but have been unsuccessful - P.s. the request was not around when I logged in but a few seconds after the notification 🤔

My problem is slightly different. I have not sent or got any friend requests but some players I played against are appearing in my friend list. Is there any bug here? Has it become automatic or something?

I have a friend who sent a request and I also sent a request. But when we both accepted it says friend request no longer exists. I'm kinda new to have friends in chess.com. So I dunno what to do. Some one please help
