Fritz 10 question

I have Deep Shredder 10, which uses the same interface as Fritz. At the top of the screen, click on Tools, then highlight Analysis and select Deep Position analysis. Or you can do shift+control+T.
When I'm analyzing a single position I usually just turn fritz on Infinite Analysis, which you can do with alt-F2 or through the analysis menu.
I purchased Fritz 10 not too long ago and have a question. I would like to setup up a position and have Fritz analyze it for the best solution (like taking one of the daily puzzles and seeing what Fritz comes up with). I know how to setup a position in Fritz however do you choose Deep Analysis in the Fritz menu for this?
I also have Chessbase 9 as well if it would be better to use that program (also very new to Chessbase 9.
