From 755 to 1733 in 11 months

wow.Well done . now you could go from 1733 to 755 next year.
i went from around 1000 to 1600 or so within 10 months balancing 2 17 college credit semesters, part time job, internship and applying to grad school.
and i still have a long way to go to get to where i want to be, and i consider this about average progress.
wanna know somethign even better? My studying consists of watching a kingscrusher youtube video a day.
sorry, for someone who is 12 and has all the time in the world, i expected something more.

Well I think its good progress, although I dont see the 1700 in your ratings?
Keep playing and learning and find yourself a mentor. Who knows you'll get a title someday!

Congratulation!! Now that you are at 1733 USCF and go for 1800 USCF and eventually 2000 expert title (Maybe you can make expert in two years). My suggestion is study endgame too ( Great Book is Silman's Endgame Book; I have it and it has help me a lot the endgame, you gain a lot points and win a lot games) and a good middlegame book is Modern Chess Strategy by Pachman. Keep studyiing and you will progress quickly. I make it to expert in three when I was seventeen and I believe I put a lot effort in my studies.

(Yes, you may think getting advice from a 12 year old sounds crazy)..
I will take all the advice i can get!

Lots of kids rise @1000 points in less than a year.
But no one should start with a rating below 1000, IMHO.

I don't play on here any more
have you tried "over the board" games. That's where true growth is meassured.
Yeah, 1733 is my USCF
USCF site confirms this. Impressive!
How did you get your first rating? Did you play a lot of chess before starting in rated events, or do you think you actual chess strength has improved this much in just one year?
Well right after I learned how to play, I started playing at a very very weak chess club that probably the best player was a 300. and after 2 times going there i automatically felt confident and wanted to play in a tournament so I really only played games before I started. (I never really studied until I got to 900 :)

Why would you ever need to study at 900? o_O
I didn't start studying until I was ~1900 lol, until then I just took my time and didn't blunder.
