Frustrating the rampant Queen

Beginner's question here. I tend to do well in games where the Queen comes out early to try and force a mate. Defending the obvious attacks, and hassling the Q with minor pieces just seems to put one far ahead in development. But there comes a point when I feel tempted to attempt a Queen exchange. Should I do that or just keep on hassling the Q? For instance, in the following situation, should I do QxN, or BxN. QxN develops my Q, and the exchange would leave me with minor pieces far better developed (I think!) But I'm also tempted to hassle his Q some more. She's sitting ready for an attack from the white Bishop. This was the actual game, though he just gave up in frustration before NxN, a nice easy way to (at last!) get back to 1200 (yipee!) :)

IMO you might as well take with the Bishop. As you broadly realize, as long as the White Queen is misplaced you'll have further opportunities to gain ground by harassing her, so why take that monkey off White's back?

Thanks Gil, makes sense. One caveat - I strongly suspect the opponent might not accept the Q exchange, as he obviously likes the Q running around making threats!
