Bro, this is the way to stop people stalling when losing so one cannot timeout when losing and 4 minutes is a lot of time not playing move

Yeah I get what you mean about stalling. Nothing more annoying than when somebody times out when they're losing...so how come people can still do that without their game being classed as abandoned???
I don't agree with you about 4 mins being long time to think about a move...happens a lot.
some people take longer to move and don't get shut down and classed Abandoned.
I was winning the game as well which reall gets my goat!
I think they need to change the sytem about this issue!!!

Can you link the game? Because if it was this one, you were disconnected and in a losing position.

Yeah that's the game...didn't know I was disconnected. So if you're disconnected and you time out of the 2 or 3 mins that you have to reconnect, does that class as "Abandoned" ?
As for being in a losing position...I had a most cunning plan which I was about to execute...maybe you just can't see it!

In general, you get some time to reconnect, but how long depends on the time control. However, regardless of the time control, if the position is losing, it's 15 seconds.
If I'm understanding that correctly you're saying that if the system decides you're in a losing position, then you get less time to reconnect?
