Crafty running on SCID offers multiple-line analysis on any position. Most UCI engines now support multiple-line analysis. Perhaps you need to either try SCID (free!) or upgrade to the latest crafty or the free Rybka engine out there.

I have the babas chess client and Craftly.
I like how it will note the blunders, or the missed mate in 3's or whatever. I am wondering how I can get Crafty to tell me something like..the next 10 best moves, and their score. When I click analyze it shows me variations, but it goes by quickly and at the end it just notes important information.
Is there a way with Crafty to show this, or another program which works better? And if so is there a cost and is there a free alternative. Which software works best and why in your opinion?
