My best friend really kicked my butt in this game. It was quite a frustrating defeat. I couldn't even develop my pieces because he was aggressively on me like a pit bull on a porkchop. I guess moving my bishop exposing my king was probably my first mistake. But after that I just felt like he was so aggressive I couldn't figure out what was the best move.  I felt like I was doomed from the beginning. And he hadn't even developed his other pieces. If he plays like this again how could I put the hurt on him?

You posted a picture of the final position, where you were mated. People need to see the game, if they are going to help you out.

There is no easy quick fix here. After seeing your king take off, it is obvious that you have never read anything about how to open a game, how to protect your king and so.

Your friend isn't much better, however, so if you do a few dozen Lessons, you can probably get the result you want.

Obviously quite a number of things went wrong in that game. Too many to mention. So I will just mention one very serious thing. Here is a rule of thumb:

Do not move your king unless it is to castle.

This game goes bad for you when you moved your king, that is, 4. Ke7. This allowed white to win a bishop with check and you were up against it.

If you had followed my advice - do not move your king - what could you have done?

Bd7 or Nc6 are the obvious moves. You still lose a piece. Bb4 was bad. Very bad as Trump would say. But at least your king is not exposed and white can't get at you in quite the same way.

in Qa4 you move Ke7 and that was bad move, a better move should be C6 and in the next move Castle the king, instead of Rg8 you should move Rb6 to force to the enemy Queen to move
