game between johnymcruz and dublinchessking

we are in the middle of our game,i have about 5minutes time advantage and it's my opponent to make his move and got disconnected,when it got cleared,i have lost the game.and this is not only this time that somethings like this had happen to me on this site.there where multiple times that i encounter this here and it's quite a frustrating experience from a fine site as big as this one.

For the record. When I made my move I was told that johnymcruz was disconnected!  My internet is working fine. The only thing I can say is that if you are experiencing this problem frequently then it must be your connection that is the root of the cause.

i don't think so because my move is already posted on the board,and it's always like this,it's not my time to move,and the clock is running on my opponent's .and also this never happen on my other games except my live games.

It could be that your internet disconnected and your browser didn't refresh.  So if your internet disconnects and the opponent makes a move, then if your browser doesn't refresh it may look like its their turn for the entire game.  It would actually be your turn but you wouldn't know that.

The way round this problem is to periodically check your connection (especially if your opponent takes a while to move) by typing "." into game chat. If it doesn't appear in the chat window then you have disconnected and you should immediately try to reconnect.
