Game ethics

Please can someone tell me if there is such a thing as chess ethics from the kind of game tactics stand point? Because some countries that I won't name, but everybody knows which they are, have players that don't play a fair game.

Is everything allowed in chess?

Hmm. I can't imagine what you mean. What kinds of moves are unethical? Do some players keep taking your queen? Using en passant?

Do they play for a stalemate? A lot of people think that a forced stalemate can be a thing of beauty.

I don't think that there are really any unethical chess moves.

Why would you ask for an opinion then proceed to denigrate the people who respond?

Ok forget it, I asked teenagers (from the quality of the replies)

And by the way that wasn't the question I asked

There is something named chess ethics in chess. Please refer to this article I found: https://chessentials.com/ethical-guide-chess-players/

And No. Everything bad/wrong/unfair is not allowed in chess. You can read about this in chess.com guidelines too.

I hope you will be able to increase your knowledge. Thankyou for your time!

What opinion do you have about India? Btw there are no 'unethical moves' in chess. If you mean unethical behaviour then I am also irritated by [moderator removed comment - AA]

There is no need actually to ask someone else's opinion about India..

Your original post and way of response is ignorant and low brow, respectively.

Can you please elaborate what you mean by that? I haven't played any FPS in the last 20 years or so, hence I'm not sure what "like a FPS" is supposed to mean.

Locked topic as it involves accusations of cheating (i.e. violations of the chess.com Fair Play Policy). Further, singling out players from a single country can be viewed as hateful and/or racist.

Please be aware, just because someone has a flag emoji beside their name doesn't mean that is where they are located or their country of origin. Users are free to select any emoji they wish to appear next to their name.

Aside from the basic rules of chess, users are expected to follow the Fair Play policy.
