Game freezes...block?

If you’re in the last 10 seconds of a game; you’re ahead on time, and the game suddenly freezes to your opponent’s advantage, just block them. I have no idea why this happens, or what the deal is, but life is too short to let these events annoy you. I’ve found over the past couple of months that by doing this, the occurrence of these “freezing games” has dropped dramatically for me. Why? Not sure, but my playing experience is far, far better.

A couple of days ago,  you said the slowdown was owed to a Verizon update. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/wow-verizons-latest-upgrade-has-killed-my-connection#last_comment

Right, that’s lag vs. freeze. The lag issue seems to have passed (Perhaps the update has settled, who knows). The only recourse we have to issues we experience is to post about what we experience; that way, if there’s a pattern, something can be done. But patterns in our experiences can only be identified if we post about our experiences
