While I appreciate that there is a long history of how games are judged after the fact, and that there is a long list of responses to an opponents moves, while checking the results of games which I won looking to improve I see moves that to me were part of a plan/strategy to force an opponent to act are marked as mistakes or blunders even though my intentions are deliberate and compelled my opponent to act to prevent what would clearly lead to check/mate.
Am I the only one who has a plan that ultimately provides a win but sees it characterised as blunders?
looking at the suggested moves, which seem to just want one to conform to a standard. am I being shown how to play to the book or learning to play the player?
