The great thing about Kasparov is that he is not only a unique chess player, but that he also is well rounded person that tries to achieve something in the world. It takes a lot of courage to do what he does.

it counts, he played the world champion outside the fide then when he got beaten he nagged that the new champion wouldnt give him a rematch , Krammik wanted and did unified the word chess championship fixing what kasparov did, no matter how good you are you still a moron if you hurt the comunity you are suppose to lead .If he was that good of a player he should have enter the format and win it just like Anand did period.
