CHESS.COM IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE
Hello, I'm a doctor from Jordan, I started my chess journey on this platform a few years back when I was still a student, I loved the platform and I loved what it offered, I was very proud to be a member of this community especially after your stance on the Ukrainian-Russian War, and I had hoped that with time maybe they will finally have a stance on Israel-Palestine. That all was before the GAZA'S GENOCIDE, after it I started only visiting the platform from time to time, hoping that one day you'd take a stance or at least release a statement, until I stopped visiting entirely, I've lost hope in this platform, your stance on a literal GENCOCIDE shows how pathetic your executives truly are. In a few years when everyone agrees on how horrible this GENOCIDE is and there's no longer consequences to speaking out, I hope that everyone will remember this platform's silence and cowardness, I know this thread will be locked or deleted , and I'm deleting my account the second it is, but regardless, I just wanted to vent one last time before never using this platform again and making sure all chess players I meet understand your complicity in silence.

Yea obviously because Russia Ukraine is about the Sicilian defense? biggest child murder in the 21st century should be talked about everywhere.

International organisations such as the IOC have sanctioned Russia over their war in Ukraine. No such sanctions have been created regarding Israel, but if/when they do, we can see then whether Chess.com chooses to do the same. Otherwise, nothing to see here - Chess.com actively avoids political discourse in its public forums, but you're welcome to take them up in any of the private clubs that allow you to do so.

Even before a single child d1ed in the Russia Ukraine war "international organizations" were already on top of banning Russia and Russian citizens from basically everything, yet when Isr@el k1lls 20,000 children, a child every hour for two years,

these organizations don't do sh11, not even statements, even when over 80% of the world demands it, they're all obviously compromised, either because of US mo$ey or Isr@el's 'friends' money, so if its about international organizations, what about the most international organization on earth? the UN has finally recognized that it is a g3noc1de, so is Ch3ss.com gonna act on it? and I've said, once there's no consequences to doing the right thing, everyone will claim they have been doing it all along.

It's about time. Even UEFA and the ESC are discussing Israel's exclusion.

Pretty sure that was mostly sporting organisations because of their repeated violations of the World Anti-Doping Authority's drug testing rules and unrelated to other politics. And that was mostly their athletes and not the oligarchs until they invaded Ukraine.

There's been no sanctions or other actions, but if the UN and other organisations do implement them, then I'm sure Chess.com will too. It's what happened in the case of Russia.

To expect them to take independent action is asking them to take a political stance that everyone says a chess website should stay out of.

Right what do you mean? Are you referring that we did not talk about the war? Did you release a forum where people would talk about it?

Anyways, This is a chess website where we don't talk about Politics, you should go to reddit for that kind of thing, calling a chess website a disgrace for not providing political stance is one of the pettiest things I have seen, of course a chess website wouldn't give a stance, that would hurt their community, The website just dosen't want to talk about it online, each staff member has opinions, maybe you could privately ask them and maybe they could respond? Being neutral on a situation is fine and everyone has right to not talk about things.

On the topic though, you're saying a lot without backing it up. I'd love to hear how you know for a certain fact their is an ongoing genocide of children, a child an hour, for 2 years? And that over 80% of the world demands it? Last I checked, 80% in the UN is a super majority, so why have they not done anything?

I know countries have done vile things and no one should support them, but I'm not asking everyone to support the other side by spamming sentences or by joining the Army, I like to be neutral on every country, treating them as the other countries, not supporting them for their actions, even if they are really evil. We shouldnt attack other people who do support them, we should be kind to them and talk politely, even if they start screaming.

You are a disgrace Chess.com, double standards and hypocrisy at its finest!

The question is, why are you even making posts in chess.com when you can go to reddit or something? Also, Internet drama about war leads, to nothing, excessive spamming leads to mostly nothing Unless you really are going to be harming the other side.

If you do want to talk about war, i recommend reaching people through other websites or DMing them other apps, This website is mainly a Chess website, so the real question here is, Why would you post political content here and not in other places like reddit? Pretty sure you can talk to even more people on Reddit that to use this site.

I really want to know why you keep trying to create posts here, When politics isn't chess.

I'd like to suggest other places where people are more open to give opinions that chess.com.

Please provide a clear, polite response to my statement.
