Gender and style in chess

Spiritually speaking,it has been suggested that female nature is closer to  ''essentiality'' than the male one.On the other hand,according GM Papaioannou ''women usually play only tactically and don't care or aren't able to understand the essential characteristics of a given position or endgame''.He goes on to suggest that one's attitude towards chess is a matter of nature.

GM Donner: "Women can't play chess, but they can't paint or do philosophy either and in fact there has never been anything written or made by a woman that's worth making the effort of looking at. Let's be honest here, it's not chess' fault."

He goes on to explain that although women are good at housework and simple repetitive tasks, they completely lack intuition, which is what is needed to play an imaginative game like chess.

Lol. I always thought women were the people with intuition.

Anyway I don't like gender generalisations. I would be more interested in knowing how someones character influences his/her play style.

I think it is a fact that women are very successful in a variety of tasks!

They also have a very sharp intuition concerning other people's emotions or intentions.

But what about intuitive thinking when it comes to ''technical science'',like said chess?

It is also a fact that women are not socially encouraged to follow pursuits where strong technical thinking is necessary!
