does one have to do analysis on a number of games to get the caps rating?

CAPS is done per game and shows up after doing a Maximum level of analysis.
Ive seen it i think it appears on all analysis and it's directly underneath blunders, excellent moves etc

You get the actual values populated (other than 0.00 or N/A)? Because I ran a Deep analysis earlier and CAPS didn't have any values. Running Maximum gave the values.

Do you have access to the Maximum depth? The membership matrix only shows that Diamond gets Maximum. Maximum is the only level that populates the CAPS score.

Then if you are getting CAPS scores, and it doesn't just say N/A, then you're lucky, or there is bug for Diamond. CAPS scores don't get calculated when I run at Deep.
You should have a caps score for each game after a manual analysis is done. Try doing a longer analysis and see if it calculates the caps score.
