We play in divisions, against similarly skilled schools, and the nearby divisions play in Sectionals with us.

My club plays in tournaments against other schools, similar to team matches. We actually went to Sectionals last year (proof that chess is a sport, we have Sectionals!). You could try that. Second place at Sectionals was a middle school team, every other team was highschoolers!
Were the other schools in your district, or was it a tournament? What kind of tournament was it? Thanks in advanced!
