Yeah I know exactly the draw you're on about. Sucks huh? The question is would you do the same?

He must have forgotten it would be a draw anyways. If you are really occupied with winning on time etc sometimes you forget it will be a draw :) He probably went "stupid me, stupid me!" after the draw

OP: try to get the same position as fast as possible in order to claim "draw by repetition" (the server will give you it)

Or try to enforce the 50 moves rules (but unfortunately you'll have to be really quick)
