@tipish I should have clarified, when I get white he plays e5 d5 c5 etc. We switch off every game though.
Cherish and take joy in the time your father spends playing chess with you. Some day it will be among your fondest memories. Complain no more about his choice of openings as this is petty of you.
Be happy your father will play with you and do not worry about what he plays is my suggestion.
