Is there anyone out there who can explain the logic behind some of these 'tactics'? I see a clear checkmate and the computer(?) faults me for not moving my bishop (tactic #154696 in my history). It's possible I misinterpreted the situation, however I call bull****. This isn't the first time I've seen nonsensical reasoning backing some of these 'tactics'.... my only disclaimer is that I'm fairly bad at chess, however I'd love for some wise soul to explain to me why this makes any sense. The black King is in check from the white queen. Black has checkmate oportunities but the check on his own king must be dealt with first. There are a few possible defences but Bd4 is the best. b6 allows white to play Rf7 which will lead to a draw . Bd4 forces white to lose the Queen or be checkmated on the next move.
These problems always have a reason behind them. Calling them bull*** because you don't understand them is not going to help your chess improve.
