Woah! There are teams! How do you play with teams or FFA?
HorribleTomato

In "free for all" coordinating is the best part!

You don't know how many times I won using chat

Na no teams I got inside the other guys heads. Strategy: Conspiracy theory and showing other's threats. Also mostly "ceasefire" but not teams. This allows me to advance pawns and organize my troops easily. Of course the most annoying mutual enemy must go down: If the @Helloer plays a 4-player, and most people despise him, it calls for a team. Also coordinated defense and blockade for mutual cause.

Ya. If you somehow can't form a team, stop chat. BUT chat is the most fun thing about four player.

Right... I know you can play on the Chess.com Website. How do you however play on the App?
HorribleTomato

Can't.

I don't understand how does that work.

2 players team up , destroy the other 2 but what then? Do they destroy each other? The winner must be one , right?

So what do they gain? That they won't lose early and they will significantly increase their chances to win I assume .

Again though , doesn't one of the 2 worry that the other will turned against him too soon to get rid of him?

Maybe the chat and teaming up actually adds a new kind of strategy in the game.

I have never played it , I only watch a game once and I must confess I didn't understand a thing with the 4 side chessboard and pieces coming from all the sides. So I'm only making assumptions.

To your first, second and third point, the game is won on a points based system. So the person with the most points, is first, and is given a higher rating score at the end of the game. The person with the second most points is given slightly less points, but still given points. The bottom two will lose points. So last two still get higher ratings and "win" the game.

To your fourth point, the teaming up is a great element in the game. However, when you click to play four player chess, it asks you whether you want to play free for all or teams. In teams, you can talk in a private chat with your teammate and decide on moves together.

Ok , thanks. I didn't know the win is assigned with points. How a player  earn this points?  Is it the pieces he captures or something else?

Click the rules icon. It has the point system there I think.
