Getting to 1000 elo is harder than getting 2000 elo

Honestly, I think getting 1000 elo on this website is harder than getting to 2000. Because when I was under 1000 rating points, I had to fight cheaters, sandbaggers, hackers, people with 95% accuracy, and bots practically every game. It made it impossible to gain rating even though I knew my rating should have been higher (because I could beat bots with 1500 rating). It's practically impossible to climb out of there unless you're Magnus Carlsen. The only reason I was able to escape was by creating a new account so I could start above 1000 and then I instantly got to 2000 elo despite nothing about me changing, because the players stopped hacking. What do you guys think about this?
