For what it's worth, I more often encounter "run away like a scared cat!! you were losing all those games!!!", after winning 7 in a row or something, against an opponent who I am like 31-4 lifetime against...

People who whine and call someone a coward for playing only 1 game are the worst kind of cancer. I rarely ever accept rematches.
Declining rematches is the new rude. I always offer a mreatch, espcially if I've won as white. The only eception is if the loser has been abusive, or if I simply don't have the time.
And gg is not rubbing it in, unless you're saying it prior to the game's conclusion.

It isn't rude to just sit down to play one game of chess. The people who call people cowards or runners for leaving after winning a game are terrible. Whiners get no rematches.
Just chill. Just say "gg" and run...
Played this game a couple of days ago. Regular game, somewhat enjoyable, said "gg" at 38...Ne3 because, let's be honest, the game was over. Oh, the rage was real. Didn't think it was such a big deal.
