Going on a 4 games RAMPAGE playing the Drunk-Rhino Defense!!

Another masterclass by INM Brahsen. I'm going to try the Drunk-Rhino over the board.
My only fear is the mainline given in your last diagram, specifically the moves 2...Nb8, 4...Nb8, 6...Nb8 which seem to have a theoretical sophistication beyond me rather like that offered by the Breyer Variation in the Closed Ruy Lopez whose signature move is also ...Nb8.
Seriously, I really enjoyed those games and I do intend to give the D-R a go in the near future.

Thanks Karpark you are right the motif comes from the Breyer Variation ^^. Go for the Drunk Rhino but please only when ur sober

How, exactly, are you proving that "openings do matter for lower rated players" by beating up on a player 650 points lower than you using total crap?
If anything, you are showing the reverse is true!

@ GreenCastleBlock - Most of us patzers playing at less exalted levels are actually rather thrilled to have the opportunity to play someone who is 2000+, even when we know we are going to get beaten, as we feel we might learn something. This is especially the case when the 2000+ is generous enough to give us mere mortals some feedback and constructive criticism as INM Brahsen often does. I see that SECTOR13 was game enough to go back for second, third and fourth helpings. If there are any 2000+s out there who would be happy to teach me a chess lesson through a couple of games in any format (except blitz or bullet as I'm too old and slow), please come and take me!
openings do matter for lower rated players
They do when the ratings are reasonably close.
Welcome to my next episode of openings do matter for lower rated players. This time I gave the Drunk-Rhino Defense a try and blasted away my poor opponent in 4 games in a row with it due to my huge theoretical knowledge of it!
In case you are interested in my huge theory knowledge in the Drunk-Rhino I will show you the hard to remember main moves:
