I've been eyeing these for awhile, but didn't have a reason to buy them, but I did (they come in cbv/pgn format!) once they went on sale.
I've just started looking at it, but the "Giants of Chess Strategy" is really good. It's definitely the best middlegame book I have thus far (admittedly I haven't read many of them but it's a lot better than Soltis, and I'd say better than "Improve your Chess Pattern Recognition.") The Amazon reviews for this book are excellent as well.
Worth a look if you're looking for well-annotated games aimed at the club-player level.
