I find using winboard an effective tool to use to go over games or openings for study. The problem is that if you go through a game and then alter a course for analysis the old line is lost. There must be some software out there that you can use to record not only games, but also variations as well. I'm looking for free downloads specifically but if it isn't to expensive I am willing to buy some. Any suggestions?
