Saying "good luck" to your opponent is a bald-faced lie ... you want them to have bad luck and lose to you. That is why instead I say "I hope you do as well as you are capable of doing while still losing, although if you did worse and lost faster to me, I won't complain... in fact I would prefer it. It`s time to stop degrading players by wishing them ''good luck'' at the start of a game with both humans and computer.To wish a player ''good luck'' is say without it they will not do any good in their game without it.It is said chess is very much a war game...do you hear oposing armies wishing each other ''good luck'' at the start of a war?
